Atlanta, GA May 12, 2006 --
Atlanta, GA May 12, 2006 -- GxWorks, a technology consulting firm specializing in enterprise
technology architecture, today announced the release of ITEM v1.5, the latest release of the
Incentivized Travel Expense Management system.
ITEM provides a unique approach to T&E management which enables companies to both incentivize
lower travel spending and to pinpoint areas of excessive cost. Starting with v1.5, ITEM has been
separated into three modular components which can be utilized by clients individually or as an
integrated package. The ITEM Expense Management, Incentive, and Analytics modules are available
immediately. The ITEM Incentive and Analytics modules can be integrated with clients' existing
expense managements systems to provide enhanced analytics and ITEM's unique incentive program.
GxWorks Director of Business Development Praveen Ghanta said, "ITEM 1.5 enables companies to
leverage their existing investments in expense management systems using ITEM's unique target-based
model. This release broadens the potential ITEM client base considerably, since a significant
percentage of major corporations already have an expense management system in place."
ITEM v1.5 is composed of three major product offerings: Expense Management, Analytics, and the
Incentive Program. ITEM Expense Management provides a complete online expense reporting solution,
including support for complex approval workflows, company T&E policy limits, digital receipt
management, and integration with financial systems. The ITEM Incentive Program enables clients to
reward employees when they spend less than the expense target for a trip. GxWorks manages the
rewards distribution process as part of the Incentive Program, and since fees for the program are
based on savings realized, clients can realize immediate ROI. ITEM Analytics uses ITEM's underlying
expense targeting capabilities to help clients determine which employees, air routes, and travel
destinations are driving spending.
