GxWorks (formerly Beltech Solutions) was founded by an MIT computer scientist to develop innovative technology solutions across a myriad of industries. GxWorks' core technology architecture practice focuses on utilizing Service-Oriented Architecture principles to solve business problems. In addition, GxWorks is focused on the delivery of new products in the outdoor advertising and corporate travel industries.

Since 2000 GxWorks has provided technology solutions for firms in the financial services, telecommunications, and energy industries. GxWorks' clients have included Deutsche Bank, Sapient, Cingular, PG&E, Taylor-Made, and Moore Capital.

GxWorks' founders have experience bringing new technologies from concept to reality. SmartWorkgroups, an online collaboration software company, was acquired by Intralinks in July 2000. Intralinks specializes in web-based collaboration solutions for the Financial and Pharmaceutical industries.
